Pratisandhi is synonymous for resistance, and that’s our resolve, to resist the age-old belief of sexuality as taboo, by promoting dialogue and awareness of sexual health and education in India, and around the world. We want to bring forth a platform that can allow for openness regarding issues that are stigmatised  in our society in order to move towards a more progressive mindset.

We aim to provide young students with age-appropriate and quality education over a wide range of subjects

Pratisandhi Foundation envisions a young India (between the ages of 15-24 years) having unrestricted access to non-discriminatory, medically accurate, age-appropriate, judgement-free, comprehensive sexuality education. By increasing overall access and awareness about sexual health we hope to empower, engage, and mobilise the youth to make informed decisions with autonomy.

We organize regular donation drives to educate and support the lower strata towards Menstrual Hygiene

Pratisandhi Foundation is a youth-led non-profit organisation based in New Delhi, registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act working towards sexual health and education among adolescents and the youth community in India. It was founded by Niyati Sharma in 2018 as an online initiative and is currently 80+ members strong across India.
