Libido is often defined as a person’s desire for sexual activity. This is influenced by various factors that can be categorized as psychological, biological or social. Interestingly, despite popular belief, losing this desire to have sexual intercourse regularly is not as uncommon as one might think. 2.Use a lubricant

An important component of sexual intercourse that tends to be overlooked is the use of lubricant. Lack of lubricant might make sex more painful because of vaginal dryness. Silicone based lubricants or moisturizers are usually recommended to alleviate this problem. They are longer-lasting and more effective than water- based substitutes. People going through menopause also experience changes in their hormone levels by reducing testosterone in the body. Once balance is restored in the body, the body could likely return to its usual libido.

7. Eating clean:

A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found out that there is a link between high cholesterol levels and problems with arousal and orgasms in women. If cholesterol builds up in the arteries, it’s tougher for blood to flow and reach the pelvic area. This might be manifested as fainter sensations in the genitals and subsequently lower chances of orgasming.
