Sanskriti Baxi is currently in her third year, pursuing her majors in Economics honours, from Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi. Her interests include reading, singing, debating and painting. She ardently wants to bring about a change in the status quo of India’s attitude towards taboos around sex, equip youth with sensitisation towards genders, have bodily autonomy and normalise safe sex practices. She wishes to pursue her higher studies in the field of international relations,to be able to work for welfare of people and be an active participant of contributing towards a harmonious tomorrow. At Pratisandhi, being the head of training, she aims to equip her fellow members with a sense of responsibility towards a gender-sensitive space and help them disseminate the right kind of practices along with helping them enhance their personalities. She’s always up for a cup of coffee and meaningful conversations with her volunteers and fellow core members alongside trying to sneak in song suggestions every time they meet.
