Niyati Sharma is the Founder and Executive Director of Pratisandhi Foundation. She began the organization with support from her mother in March 2018 as a youth-initiative seeking to address questions surrounding sexual health and education among young-adults. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Economics at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. She is actively involved in endeavors by Enactus UBC as a project associate along with involvement in the Young Women in Business. She is an AFS alumni member and spent an academic year in Belgium for a cultural exchange program.
Niyati has a keen sense of social judgement that bodes well with her leadership abilities and deep understanding of her environment which allow her to align together people from different backgrounds. Striving to strike a balance in intellectual quest and desirable social traits, her clarity of thought and drive towards her passions serve as her greatest assets as a role model for the entire team.
